My name is James McCluskey and I provide professional services based on Integrated Psychotherapeutic Counselling and also Hypnotherapy.
I am based just outside Kirkcaldy in a peaceful and private rural location.
I work on a one-to-one basis, using a collaborative, empathetic and non-judgmental style.
This helps clients identify what they really want from therapy and then I assist and empower them in exploring how they might achieve it.
The Integrative approach draws on several different styles and methods rather than one approach fits all.
This means that I can personalise therapy to be tailored to the Client’s specific situation, using varied approaches drawing on Psychodynamics, person-centred, CBT, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and other Humanistic Approaches, as well as Jungian Psychoanalysis and Motivational Approaches.
These approaches are often successful in dealing with depression, stress, anxiety, self-esteem, self-defeating behaviours/ habits, grief and loss, anger management and many other issues.
The key thing here is that you will be listened to without being judged in a safe, confidential relationship and no one is going to try and “fix you” based on their own opinions.
I hope that I can be of help to you, and if you call me and there is no answer I am probably with a client, but I will return your call as soon as I can.
It doesn’t help you or others if you just bottle things up and suffer in silence. Help and support are here and available and I look forward to hearing from you when you are ready to take the first important steps to take back control of your life.
