I can offer you a safe, confidential space, and will build a non-judgemental and empathic relationship with you, taking a mindful walk alongside you, as you explore together what you choose to bring to your counselling sessions.
During your initial discovery call, we will collaborate and build an awareness of your current difficulties and develop a plan of how we will work together.
My counselling approach is Integrative, underpinned by the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), sessions are goal orientated and you will create your own personalised toolkit with CBT techniques and tools that be helpful from other therapeutic interventions, such as Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), creativity, and Mindfulness, with your goals for counselling central to your work together.
This Integrative approach will allow you to gain insight and understanding into your thoughts, behaviours, and feelings, areas of life that may be challenging, and develop healthier ways of being to allow you a more satisfying life.
With over 11 years of experience working in the mental health field, I have engaged in many Continuous Professional Development courses, which have enriched and enhanced my approach.
I have worked in third-sector organisations, high schools, colleges, mindfulness-based services, and hospice settings and have extensive experience in co-ordinating counselling services and mentoring trainee counsellors on placement.

I offer daytime & evening appointments and provide online & telephone counselling UK-wide.
Face-to-face sessions with me, are available in locations in Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire.
