I aim to offer a warm, caring and genuine space, ensuring that the client has a physical and emotional ‘space’ to be heard and understood and their particular needs met.
Being a pluralistic therapist, I know that different people are helped by different therapeutic methods and activities at different times.
I believe that empathy and the therapeutic relationship are central to my way of working and the foundation of the way I practice.
I strive to be a good listener with an ability to ‘hold’ difficult stories which help the client feel safe and share concerns.
I work across a range of ages from children 10 years + to adults. I have worked extensively with anxiety, trauma, flashbacks, depression, stress, dissociation, domestic abuse, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, family breakdown and trauma from sexual assault/abuse.
I believe in walking alongside my clients as they work through their own experiences.
Reaching out for help can take courage, I very much welcome your inquiry and invite you to contact me should you wish more information.
My practice is based on individuality not ‘one size fits all’.
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. Whilst working with children I provide play-led therapy.
