About Holly

I’m a humanistic counsellor dedicated to supporting you through life’s challenges with warmth and understanding.

I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, valued, and accepted just as they are. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment.

I understand how overwhelming anxiety, self-doubt, or grief can feel. Having faced my own challenges, including navigating ADHD, anxiety and loss, I appreciate how isolating and heavy these experiences can be.

My personal experiences, along with professional training and working with a number of clients from different backgrounds and experiences, have shaped the way I work with clients.

I have supported individuals facing anxiety, navigating ADHD, depression, low self-esteem, grief, and struggles with identity.

Each person’s story is different, and I approach each one with openness and respect. I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, valued, and accepted just as they are, and creating that safe, compassionate space for you is my priority.

My own experience as a client has shaped my belief in the value of a supportive and understanding counselling relationship.

I see therapy as an opportunity to gently explore your personal experiences, this may help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, find clarity about what you want, and discover how to move toward it.

Frequently asked questions

What does a session look like?

Sessions are 50 minutes. Person-centred/Humanistic therapy is all about focusing on you as the expert in your own life. It’s a non-judgmental, supportive approach where I’ll listen and guide, but you set the pace and direction. The goal is to give you the space to explore your thoughts and feelings, helping you uncover what feels right and meaningful for you.

How long will I need to be in therapy?

This is a question without a one-size-fits-all answer, as everyone comes to therapy with their own unique expectations and challenges. Whether you’re seeking short-term support or long-term guidance, the choice is entirely yours. Once we establish a regular time for your sessions, that time is reserved for you each week until you decide to make a change.

What is the cost?

Sessions are 70€/£60 for a 50-minute session.

What is online therapy like?

Online therapy is a flexible option that works best when you’re in a private, comfortable space. It’s great for busy schedules, health challenges, or if you simply prefer staying home. Privacy and confidentiality are treated with the same care as in-person therapy.

Do i provide In-Person therapy?

Yes, I currently provide In-Person Therapy in central Lisbon and walk-and-talk therapy in Lisbon.

What is Walk & Talk therapy?

Walk and Talk Therapy is a form of counselling that takes place outdoors while walking side by side. It’s a gentle, person-centred approach that blends the benefits of movement, nature, and open conversation. For many, it feels more relaxed and less intense than sitting face-to-face — helping to ease anxiety, support focus, and create space for grounding and reflection.

Who do you work with?

I provide support to adults, offering both short-term and long-term therapy tailored to their needs.

Why did I choose this career?

I have spent a lot of time in personal therapy over the last 10 years, and the changes I have been able to make, along with the confidence I gained, sparked my passion for working with others.

Having received empathy and compassion, I was given the space to grow and challenge my own beliefs and behaviours. This has been life-changing for me, and I believe wholeheartedly in the process of therapy.

How therapy can help you

Being heard and accepted as you are in the moment can help with confidence.

Voicing thoughts and feelings safely and without judgment can promote self-awareness and clarity.

Being part of an honest and empathetic relationship can aid self-acceptance and improve self-esteem.
